The first High Level Dialogue was convened with the following objectives, 1. To discuss, engage women peace builders and detail recommendations to AU, IGAD, International community and South Sudanese government on the nexus between Security Sector reform, Demobilization Disarmament and Reintegration and Transitional Justice as a pathway to transition from conflict to peace; 2. To report and provide recommendations that translate women and youth Burundian refugees, IDPs and returnees concerns into concrete political, economic, and social reforms;3. To call for a renewed commitment of AU and the government to a security sector reform process that meets the human security needs of the people of DRC and South Sudan;4.
