
28th GIMAC Consultative Meeting on Gender Mainstreaming in Africa Moving from Solemn Declarations to Solemn Deliverables
Participants at the 28th GIMAC session represented a diverse group of 200 women leaders, advocates, human rights defenders, young women and girls from across Africa and the Diaspora who deliberated on the current status of health, education, peace and security, economic empowerment, accountability and leadership for women’s rights in Africa. Drawing from the two-day discussions, participants outlined key recommendations.
